Avenue of the Stars
Avenue of The Stars tells the story of Hong Kong's one hundred years of cinematic history through inscriptions printed on nine red pillars. Set into the promenade are plaques honouring Hong Kong's glittering roll of celebrities.
The 440 metre promenade commands a stunning panoramic view across Victoria Harbour. This is an excellent place to take a daytime walk, and at night is a popular viewing place for the Symphony of Lights display.
Temple Street Night Market

The famed Temple Street Night Market comes to life at dusk. Traffic stops, people swarm and hundreds of little stalls magically appear. Carts bulge with goods, from casual clothing to mobile phones and watches. Food stalls serving all kind of local snacks and dishes abound, all to the sound of Cantopop and live performances of Chinese street opera. The market is open until 2am
Yuen Po Street Bird Garden
MTR Prince Edward
With 70 bird stalls showcasing a variety of melodious songbirds, this garden, with its courtyards and moongates, is a pleasure of both sight and sound. Songbirds remain a favourite pet of local men. Merchants stock items such as fancy teak cages and tiny porcelain water bowls. The garden is open from 7am to 8pm.
Star Ferry
One of the most memorable and scenic boat trips you can take, the Star Ferry has been transporting passengers between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon for more than a century. For only HKD2.20, guests can enjoy this seven-minute ride and soak up the ambience of one of the world's busiest harbours with cargo, cruise ships and the occasional junk sailing by.
